Users can write programmable pipelines easily and debug them through a built-in user interface. Although Grafana Agent has been deprecated and is now in Long-Term Support mode, users are encouraged to migrate to Grafana Alloy, a new collector built on the foundation of Grafana Agent Flow, which offers enhanced capabilities. The project provides comprehensive documentation, installation instructions, and examples to help users get started quickly. It also maintains a Docker Compose environment for local experimentation. The release cadence is approximately every six weeks, with minor, patch, and security releases as needed. The community is active, offering support through Slack, GitHub discussions, and monthly calls. Contributions are welcomed with a detailed contributors guide available. Overall, Grafana Agent serves as a powerful, scalable, and flexible tool for observability in modern cloud-native environments, supporting a wide range of telemetry data and integration points.
