Awesome AI Agents › MCP Server Framework
Pascal Editor is an open-source, local-first 3D building editor for the web and CLI, built with React Three Fiber and WebGPU. It can be launched with a single npx command, which starts both the editor and an authenticated Model Context Protocol (MCP) service in the background, keeping project data in a local SQLite database under the user home directory. The MCP service is the primary way AI agents interact with the tool: an agent can connect through `pascal mcp connect` without needing the graphical editor process running, letting it manipulate 3D scenes and assets programmatically. The project also ships installable agent skills (via skills.sh and as a Claude Code plugin) that teach agents specific workflows, such as fitting furniture into a 3D space. The npm packages provide the CLI, an MCP server, and a viewer runtime that is downloaded once per version and verified against a published digest. Because the local HTTP runtime shares scene state across connected clients, the project recommends one active agent client per local service, using separate home directories for concurrent independent work. It targets developers and teams who want to combine a real-time 3D editing environment with programmatic or agent-driven control, such as building configurators, spatial design tools, or agent-assisted 3D content pipelines. The project is MIT licensed and distributed as a set of npm packages (core, viewer, CLI) plus a Claude Code plugin.
