Awesome-GUI-Agents is a curated bibliography maintained by the ZJU-REAL group at Zhejiang University for research on agents that operate graphical user interfaces. The list gathers papers on multimodal and large language model agents that read a screen and act on it, and organises them around the modules such an agent is built from, covering perception of the interface, planning of multi-step tasks, grounding of an instruction to a concrete on-screen element, and execution of actions. A second section indexes the datasets and benchmarks used to train and evaluate these systems, which is the part practitioners usually need when they want to reproduce or compare results. Alongside the main list the repository publishes periodic surveys of conference proceedings, with separate folders summarising and scoring GUI agent submissions to ICLR 2026 and papers accepted at AAAI 2026, which turns the repository into a running record of where the field is moving rather than a static link collection. The maintainers also use it to announce their own work, including papers on GUI grounding and on reinforcement learning for GUI automation, released models on Hugging Face, and ClawGUI, a unified framework for training, evaluating and deploying GUI agents. Entries link to arXiv preprints, project pages, code repositories and model weights where available, and the repository accepts contributions through pull requests so that new papers can be added by the community. The audience is researchers and engineers working on desktop, mobile and web interface automation who need an organised entry point into a fast moving literature, and students looking for a reading path through the subject.
