10xProductivity addresses a constraint common in corporate environments: most employees cannot install an automation platform, register applications, add webhooks or wait for approval each time they want an agent to help. Instead of introducing new infrastructure, the project builds on the coding agent already installed on the laptop, together with the browser sessions, desktop applications, notifications and permissions the employee already holds, and has the agent act on their behalf locally. The repository is largely agent-readable documentation and packaged skills rather than a runtime service. A tool connections directory holds setup recipes for more than twenty-five systems, including Slack, Jira, GitHub, Confluence, Google Drive, Outlook, Salesforce and internal portals, alongside a general playbook for connecting anything exposing an API, a command line, a browser surface or local files. On top of the connections sit skills for Cursor and Claude Code that teach a kind of work rather than a single API call: searching across connected tools for context, triaging a sprint, summarizing an incident, drafting a pull request description, preparing a customer call or writing a standup update. The intended process is supervised at first, with the user correcting the agent during real work so the coaching becomes durable instructions, after which repeated patterns are captured as reusable skills and eventually as workflows launched from a schedule or a trigger. The project marks its own maturity honestly: tool connections, cross-tool enterprise search and agent skills are described as available, triggers and the local runtime for polling, scheduling and state as early, and scheduled reflection with durable memory as roadmap items. It suits knowledge workers who already use a coding agent daily and want to extend it into general work automation without an IT project.
